Execution Court

How Saudi Arabia's Execution Court Works

The Execution Court handles enforcement of binding judicial rulings. It does not retry cases — it only enforces what courts have already decided.

How Enforcement Works

Once you have a final judgment, file an execution request through Najiz. The court gives the debtor five days to comply voluntarily. If they refuse, the court can impose:

  • Service suspension — blocking license renewals, travel, and business registration
  • Asset freezing — holds on bank accounts or property
  • Public auction — selling seized assets to satisfy the debt

The Nafith Platform

Electronic promissory notes issued through Nafith carry the same legal weight as a court judgment and can be enforced directly without additional litigation.

When Are Frozen Funds Transferred?

Typically within a few business days after all procedural requirements are met. Disputes or appeals can extend this timeline significantly.
