Taradhi is the Ministry of Justice's official platform for amicable settlement and mediation — an alternative to litigation for a wide range of civil and commercial disputes.
Eligible Dispute Types
- Financial and commercial disputes
- Employment disputes (within defined limits)
- Property and rental disputes
- Family disputes (non-criminal)
How It Works
One party submits a mediation request. The other party is notified and must agree. A licensed mediator is assigned, and sessions are held remotely via video conference. If agreement is reached, the settlement can be ratified by court, giving it the same enforceability as a judgment.
If Mediation Fails
The platform issues a certificate confirming the failed attempt, allowing the claimant to proceed to court. For some dispute types, attempting Taradhi is mandatory before filing a lawsuit.
Legal Disclaimer
Have a lawyer review any settlement agreement before signing.
